SEND at Arthur Bugler

At Arthur Bugler, we believe that all students have the ability to achieve their full potential.

In our view, all students have learning differences rather than learning difficulties. It is our aim to identify and assess these differences and ensure that learning is supported and differentiated to ensure outstanding progress is made by all students. Inclusion is at the heart of our school’s values.

Staff at the school have knowledge of a variety of special educational needs and disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, visual and hearing impairments, dyslexia, learning delay and speech and language difficulties.

Our Learning Support Zone provides children with a safe space to develop their emotional and social skills with the guidance of our Learning Mentor. Our Sensory Room is fully equipped to provide sensory stimulation for those with sensory needs. It’s also a lovely place for people to relax and unwind – both children and staff!
